1 down 2 to go

Well ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to my Godson, Quinn Patrick Kelly MacPherson with his Daddy, Richie and his GodDaddy.

Yeah Quinn was born yesterday morning and weighed in at 8lbs - well done Arlene! He's also as healthy as can be, so now I can turn my attention to worrying that everything will go fine for Jane and Doctah and my cousin Emma and Huw for their little bundles which are coming over the summer.

It also meant I spend all morning baby shopping as I had waited until we knew whether Quinn would turn out to be a Quinn or a Joey. Did you know that every clothes store in Halifax has its own baby range? It really is a multi-million dollar industry. I should have taken a photo but I bought him the most adorable "My First Levis" set of jeans, t-shirt and socks - it just couldn't be left on the shelf. I also bought him a cuddly croc so he knows what to expect down under and a cuddly soccer ball so he's brought up playing a proper sport!

Anyway, here's some more photos of baby, Mummy, Daddy, Grandma & GodDaddy and I just want to say congratulations both and thank you a million times again for asking me to be Godfather, I'm so proud.

Changing Times

So last night was my last shift at Dofsky's. Which is sad as I'd met some fantastic people there and thoroughly enjoyed my time with them. However, life goes on and I'm now going to try and complete and online application for a graduate job back home.

I say 'try to complete' as I've been doing it bit by bit all week and it's so boring. I really don't like these online application forms with questions such as 'tell us about a time when you have made a decision using your analytical and problem solving skills' or 'tell us about a time when you have had to deliver a project to set deadlines.' What a load of bollocks if you ask me - they're pathetic questions I feel unlikely to reveal my true personality. Give me a face-to-face interview any time.

Now it's time to stop procrastinating.
